About me:
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person who wasn't suppose to let us down probably will. You'll have your heart broken, probably more than once, and it gets harder each time. You'll break hearts too, so remember what it felt like when someone broke yours. You'll fight with your best friend and may even fall in love with them. You'll cry, because time is passing too fast and you'll eventually lose someone close to you. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt. There is only one thing in this world that matters and that is the moment we are in. Each minute we spend angry or upset is one minute of happiness we will never get back. Why live those minutes unhappy?
There comes a point in your life when you get tired of trying to fix everything and make everyone happy. When you finally decide to quit, it's NOT giving up. It's realizing you don't need certain people and the bullshit they bring to your life. Stay true to your passions. Put things in perspective. Strike a balance. Be proud of who you are. Keep a sense of humor. Unleash your energy. Unearth your potential. Shake off your mistakes. Make the world a better place. Follow the voice of your Spirit. Remember to dream. Listen to the wisdom of your soul. Dance to the music in your heart. Be fierce in your pursuit in what sets your soul on fire! And, never settle for anything less than what you deserve!
I'm a woman who gives out chances more than she should, but then that makes me just the woman I am. I've learned to always love myself more than those I hand it out to. Through my experiences, I have learned the only person who can truly make me happy is myself. If I want change, I have to make change; sometimes, painful change.
I'm complex; just when you think you have me figured out I will hit you with something else. I stand up for what I believe in, and will back those I love. I can be gentle, distant, loving, hyper, generous, impossible, and irate all at the drop of a hat.
My emotions run deep and powerful. When I love, I love with all I have. If my love is disrespected I may give it another chance, but know that at some point I will walk away and never look back. As beautiful of a heart in which I have, I also have the ability to shut if off like a switch. Does it make me cold-hearted? For the one on the other end, perhaps, yes. For me, though, it is my protective mechanism. All I ever ask of anyone is truth, respect, trust and sincerity, to treat me as an equal, and to always be yourself. It's best not to mess with me or my emotions; I have a very long fuse, but my temper is dangerous. So, if you choose to make me a part of your life, in any capacity, be prepared for one hell of a ride!!
