Wide-ranging taste in music: Classical, Blues, "World," 60's/70's Rock, some Jazz, some Film Scores, all of Cole Porter and Noel Coward and much of the 30's and 40's popular ans Big-Band music.
Movies:
Films of or about the 20's thru the 50's. Favorite recent film: "Atonement." Also, the more successful Shakespearian adaptations: Branagh's "Henry V", Olivier's "Hamlet," Taymor's "Titus Andronicus."
Also, upper-end made-for-TV series, viewed via Netflix: "The Wire," "Slings and Arrows," "Upstaitrs Downstairs," etc.
The very word "Blockbuster" sends me home to read a book.
