About me:
Hello friends. I'm a 68 year old veteran of the Vietnam war. I'm a realist and since I'm an old fart I have no fantasies of capturing the love of some amazingly beautiful young maiden. I do however, still greatly appreciate the beauty and intelligence of youthful women. That is a powerful combination that can change the world for the better. I'd love to chat with as many of you as possible because I'm still interested in this world and especially what young people are thinking and enjoying and your dreams of the future. My generation has made a lot of mistakes and so I also want to hear about what you think of those. I'll be reading a lot of profiles to see who might be interesting, and so if I ask to be your friend, I hope you'll humor an old man and be my chat buddy and share your life and dreams with me. I promise to be a good listener and a gentleman.
I grew up as a country boy in a small poor mountain community, but fortunately the life paths that I took led me to a fair amount of success and the discovery of this grand world. I've seen and lived in lot of this world and have come to appreciate the different cultures, traditions and foods. I've also come to realize that the differences we think separate us are not so many. Though different in ways, people most everywhere actually share the same struggles and dreams. I've lived the greater portion of my life with both grit and humor and I so appreciate determination and success, and the humor and follies of life.
I do also like to talk about the past though as history is one of my passions.

I'd like to meet world-wide intelligent women who like to share their lives through chats and messages. I'm very interested in what you have to say. I know what my generation thinks and frankly I'm tired of all that. I'd like to hear some fresh perspectives on this world.
