Take my advice, if you get that feeling in the pit of your stomach that something is wrong, even if you're not sure, don't ignore it!!

No role playing, this is the real me! My name is Joann, I am 40 and single, in fact I have never been married, although I was engaged a few times, both engagements I ended for different reasons. I ended the first after he confessed to me that he was more attracted to guys than women, and he also wanted me to 'beat him', Master/slave rp, anyway I couldn't do it. It's just not me. BTW I'd first met him online in a vampire chat room (I love vampires). If he had only told me the truth about himself before we'd gotten engaged, we both would have been saved a lot of heart ache. That was when I was twenty-eight. My second fiance proved to me the importance of doing background checks. Him I met online too, I think I was 32 or 34, I'm not sure now. Anyway, I'm not going to give you the scary details about that, all I'll tell you about that is I am extremely fortunate to be here today. BTW he had a record and if I had done a background check on him before agreeing to move to Florida to be with him I never would have gone out there!! Please please be careful, before agreeing to meet anyone do your homework! Later I'll add one or two links where you can get background checks done. If the person who wants you to come out to where they live does not want you to do a background check on them, be suspicious! Be smart and stay safe!!

BTW I'm living in Ohio again. Although I'd love to have enough money to travel across the united states and even to other countries. I lived in North Dakota for about ten years, but sorely missed Ohio. Ohio is my home, and always will be.

Let's see.. what else can I tell you about me...

In the Occupation field I put in disabled. Didn't have enough room in that tiny box to describe it, so I'll do that here. My disability is not a physical one, it's called Diversified Handicap. I've been told that my motor skills are slow, I've also been told that I am borderline retarded. I can learn, but in a different way. My attention span is very short, my mind wanders when people talk to me and I drift off into imagination I guess you can say. I am probably the last person who should role play because I get so engrossed in it that I sometimes lose myself. No I don't forget who I am and start believing that I am the character I am role playing, what I mean is I enjoy my fantasy life so much more than my real life that if I could, I'd remain in it. Add to that the panic attacks I get in large crowds.

This next part, admitting or describing what I really look like is extremely hard for me. I am an obese woman. I started gaining weight when I was ten years old -blame the junk food, lack of exercise and what we now know they put in packaged foods and in the foods at fast food restaurants like McDonalds. At my heaviest I was 211 pounds! Currently I am 168. I started to drop off the pounds immediately after I stopped going to fast food restaurants, and started to cook and eat organic food. And that's without exercise! Can you imagine how well I'd do if I was more active? I can, so as soon as winter is over I'm going to be joining the fitness club that's conveniently right across the street from my apartment, thankfully it's only for women so even if it's crowded, maybe I won't be too uncomfortable. Why don't I join now? Because every time I see a sheet of ice in a parking lot, or on a side walk, I imagine falling and splitting my head open. I know it's not rational, but it's so strong that sometimes I can't move for fear that I'd fall. So I stay inside the house in the winter. I have family go to the store either for me or with me in the winter.

I have short reddish brown hair, and brown hazel eyes which I think are my best feature. And I wear glasses. I don't need them to read, but I do need them to drive and see things from a distance. Which means unless I'm reading a book or the newspaper, I'm always wearing them. Yes I know about contacts, but the idea of putting anything directly on my eyeball creeps me out. Wonder if I'm the only one?

I already mentioned my love of vampires when I told you about my two engagements. I am also very interested in the paranormal and the occult. Am a fan of the shows Paranormal State, and TAPS, among others.
